Meet the Florist
Cortney’s love for flowers started as a child, with some of her fondest memories being of visiting her mother while she worked at a local flower shop. Her creative gift came out while in elementary art class and followed her into her adult life when she started designing and repurposing décor for her family home. Cortney’s life pivoted in 2020 and she began adding rows of flowers to her backyard. This caused a need for a greenhouse, which her husband, Stan, built for her. Cortney had found a way to combine her creative side with her love for flowers and started selling hand-tied bouquets from her Waterford Road front porch. This led her to taking florist classes online while preparing for the opportunity to join The Shoppe on Main and share her unique arrangements with our local community. When Cortney is not playing in the dirt you will find her spending time with her children: Kaylie, Hayden, and Olivia. Come in and smell the roses while blessing someone or yourself with a Cortney creation.
